The screening was part of the AmDocs Showcase, featuring some of the favorite films from the AmDocs film festival.

The reponse to our World Premiere at the AmDocs film festival in March was amazing and beyond our wildest expectations. We are overwhelmed and nearly speechless.

About The Film

Karen and Tony in the desert with Warren

Karen & Tony Barone are two artists you will never forget! They inspire you to see art in a different light. Everything - from their car, clothes and even food - is art. The Barones are on a personal mission to entertain the world through their art.

Something to Entertain You, an independent documentary by Jon and Mary Orlin, takes you on a colorful and magical journey through the art and lives of this husband and wife team. For decades, they have been creating unique, clever and memorable art in various forms and mediums.

Their sculptural works are instantly recognizable. While they are known throughout the Palm Springs, California area for dozens of larger than life aluminum sculptures of rabbits, dogs and superheroes that dot the Coachella Valley, there is MUCH more to their compelling and joyful story.

Director’s Statement

The directors started this project after seeing the artists work from the highway. They wanted to know who made these giant, colorful sculptures and what was their story?

During a 6 year filmmaking journey, we gained the trust of the Barones and a better understanding of them. We also discovered they had lessons for all of us.
